EMBODIMENT  

Fierce panther lurking beneath the foliage, Patient guardian, you awaken as a solitary huntress. Your eyes are two incendiary stars, tinted with honey and amber. Messengers of your power, they cut through the darkness of your fur with their gleam. A fur mirror, sinister haute couture, undulating to the rhythm of your silent stride. You fade into the shadows, enigmatic sovereign, leaving in your wake a musky ambrosia, feline and floral.  

THE PERFUME

Volupté Noire is an olfactory interpretation of Ambrosia, the mythical food of the gods. It draws inspiration from the high Atlas Mountains of Morocco, where a powerful and animalic floral nectar is harvested: Euphorbia honey.  

A radiant burst of Bergamot, Davana and Medjool Date opens the fragrance. The heart reveals a bouquet of white flowers, Linden, Acacia, Jasmine mixed with the sweet tannins of Black Oak. Richly ambered and musky, euphorbia honey dresses the composition in an umber robe leaving in its sovereign wake the imprint of a tawny, floral caress.

THE NAME

“Volupté Noire!” — This exclamation is drawn from a poem by Charles Baudelaire entitled “To a Madonna”, which inspired another fragrance in the collection. Sharing its sweet and animalic nature, it continues the olfactory story.
