Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood brings the house’s best-known shaving cream into a compact aluminium bowl that is easy to pack and convenient on a smaller bathroom shelf. A small amount worked with warm water produces uniquely smooth, creamy lather that hydrates beard hair, cushions the skin and helps the razor follow an even path. The fragrance is a classic fougère rather than a single sandalwood note: pink pepper, geranium, lavender, rosemary and amber lead into carnation, fern and orange blossom, while patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, powdery musk and rock rose form the warm base.

Choose this: You want a shaving cream that builds a creamy lather; you want to lather with a shaving brush or with wet hands directly on a wet face; you appreciate this product’s characteristic fragrance;

Not suitable if: you want a clear, non-foaming product for precise contour shaving; you prefer foam that is dispensed as foam and does not need lathering;

How to Use: Wash your face with warm water and leave the shaving area wet. If using a brush, dampen it with warm water. Work a small amount of cream into a lather with the brush in a separate bowl or directly on your face, adding water gradually until the lather is dense, glossy and easy to spread. Apply evenly using circular movements. Without a brush, apply a small amount of cream to your wet face and use wet hands to build a rich, creamy lather directly on the skin, adding water as needed. Shave with light pressure and rinse thoroughly. Rinse the brush thoroughly after use if used.
