The MÜHLE CLASSIC 31 K 256 combines the soft feel associated with fine shaving brushes with the easy care of a modern vegan fibre. Its 21mm Silvertip Fibre® knot has especially soft tips and a firmer lower section, giving it enough backbone to load shaving soap efficiently while remaining gentle when lathering on the face. The synthetic fibres retain less water than natural hair, dry quickly and can produce a rich, creamy lather from a small amount of shaving cream or soap. A polished black high-grade resin handle gives the brush a clean, timeless appearance and a smooth, substantial feel in the hand. What does it do?

The 21mm knot combines soft fibre tips with supportive backbone, helping lift and soften the stubble while working water and air into the shaving product. It creates a dense, even lather and distributes it comfortably across the shaving area. Silvertip Fibre® is durable, easy to rinse and dries faster than natural hair.

How to use?

Moisten the brush with warm water and shake out the excess. Load a small amount of shaving cream or soap, then build the lather in a bowl or directly on damp skin with circular movements. After shaving, rinse the knot thoroughly until the water runs clear, gently shake out excess water and leave the brush to dry in a well-ventilated place, preferably with the knot facing down.

Material and construction

Silvertip Fibre® synthetic knot, ring size M (21mm). The black handle is turned from solid rods of high-grade resin and polished in several stages. Approximate dimensions: width 35mm, length 93mm; weight 54gr. Since 2024, the Silvertip Fibre® blend contains 37% renewable raw materials; according to MÜHLE, its production uses 30% less energy and generates 63% fewer greenhouse-gas emissions than conventional synthetic fibres.
