Pink pepper gives Taylor of Old Bond Street Spicy Sandalwood its spicy twist, bringing a lively accent to the warmth of sandalwood. Lavender, rosemary and geranium add herbal freshness, with patchouli, vetiver and powdery musk rounding out the woody fragrance. As a warm, damp shaving brush works the cream into a rich, creamy lather, the scent becomes part of preparing for the shave. You can also build a rich lather directly on a wet face using wet hands, without a brush. The lather helps soften beard hair and creates a moisture-rich protective layer between skin and blade, bringing fragrance and function together in a traditional wet shave.

Choose this if: you want a shaving cream that works both with and without a brush, with a warm woody fragrance combining herbal freshness and a pink pepper accent.

Not suitable if: you want a fragrance-free shaving product or ready-made foam that needs no lathering.

Fragrance: top notes of pink pepper, geranium, lavender, rosemary and amber; middle notes of carnation, fern and orange blossom; base notes of patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, powdery musk and rock rose.

How to Use: Wash your face with warm water and leave the shaving area wet. If using a brush, dampen it with warm water. Work a small amount of cream into a lather with the brush in a separate bowl or directly on your face, adding water gradually until the lather is dense, glossy and easy to spread. Apply evenly using circular movements. Without a brush, apply a small amount of cream to your wet face and use wet hands to build a rich, creamy lather directly on the skin, adding water as needed. Shave with light pressure and rinse thoroughly. Rinse the brush thoroughly after use if used.
