Baxter of California Clay Pomade combines naturally derived clay and beeswax to give hair strong yet pliable control with a natural matte finish. It separates, texturises and moulds the hair without a stiff or glossy result, making it suitable for both precisely structured styles and more relaxed definition.

Best for: Straight, thick or wavy hair; pompadours, quiffs, textured styles, controlled volume and deliberately undone looks; short-to-medium lengths that need lasting shape.

Not ideal for: Soft, barely styled hair; high-shine or wet-look finishes; anyone seeking a very light product for fine hair, as this is a dense clay-and-wax formula.

How to use: Warm a fingernail-sized amount between the palms. Apply evenly with the fingertips, then shape as required. Use on dry hair for the most natural, matte result. Apply to damp or wet hair when a more polished finish is preferred. Build with small additional amounts for stronger control and use a comb for a cleaner, more defined style.
