Truefitt & Hill 1805 Aftershave Balm is a rich yet easily absorbed moisturiser designed to return freshly shaved skin to a calm, supple state. Aloe vera juice and allantoin help soothe visible redness and razor discomfort, while glycerin, sodium PCA and lanolin replenish moisture and soften the skin. The balm feels smooth and comforting without leaving a greasy shine, making it especially useful when shaving tends to leave the face tight or sensitive. The signature 1805 fragrance is fresh and oceanic: bergamot, mandarin and cardamom lead into lavender, geranium and clary sage, followed by sandalwood, cedarwood and musk. It combines restorative post-shave care with one of Truefitt & Hill’s most recognisable aromatic signatures.

Who is it for: For all skin types, particularly normal, dry or sensitive skin that needs moisture and comfort after shaving.

Who is it not for: If you prefer the brisk, astringent feel of a traditional alcohol-based splash or avoid lanolin and fragranced products, choose a different aftershave format.

What does it do: Aloe vera and allantoin help calm freshly shaved skin. Glycerin and sodium PCA attract and retain moisture, while lanolin and emollients soften the surface and reduce the feeling of tightness. The balm absorbs readily and leaves a soft, shine-free finish.

How to use: After shaving, rinse and gently dry the face. Warm a small amount between the palms, then massage over the face and neck until absorbed.
