Baxter of California After Shave Balm is an alcohol-free finishing step for skin that feels hot, tight or sensitive after shaving. Its light gel-balm texture spreads smoothly and absorbs without the sharp sting of an alcohol splash, leaving the face refreshed, soft and comfortable rather than greasy. Aloe vera and allantoin help soothe freshly shaved skin, while menthol provides a clean cooling sensation. Glycerin, butylene glycol and methyl gluceth-20 attract and retain moisture, and cyclopentasiloxane gives the balm a silky glide and smooth finish. The formula is suitable for all skin types and is designed to help keep razor burn and post-shave sensitivity at bay while helping reduce the risk of ingrown hairs.

For all skin types, particularly when shaving tends to leave the skin warm, tight or sensitive and you want cooling comfort without alcohol.

Who is it not for?

It may not suit those who dislike a distinct menthol cooling sensation or who want the brisk, astringent feel of a traditional alcohol-based aftershave lotion.

What does it do?

How to use?

After shaving, apply a small amount to clean skin on the face and neck. Massage gently until fully absorbed. Use daily; follow with a facial moisturiser if additional hydration is needed.
