Inspiration : A signature creation of Maison Pierre Guillaume Paris, this fragrance features Obsidial®, a floral “volume” effect inspired by the scent of sun-warmed Volvic stone after rain.

This is an abstract vision of rose — captured at the moment it moves beyond being simply a flower and becomes pure sensation. Between the mineral warmth of Obsidial and the balsamic, ambergris-like aura of Grisalva, the rose transforms. It is no longer purely floral or sensual, but elemental — like matter itself. The fragrance expresses transformation: emotion becoming substance, colour becoming vibration.

The Perfume : The soft mineral warmth of Obsidial® blends with the woody pulse of redwood. At the heart, rose gradually dissolves into a bright, dense white glow, while Grisalva adds a subtle salty resonance. In the background, Obsidial creates tension with a fluid, slightly spicy freshness that flows through the composition like a wave.

Balanced and uplifting, the fragrance feels neither warm nor cool — steady like a form, yet fluid like movement.

The Name : Métarosme combines the words metamorphosis, rose, and osmosis. It suggests the slow transformation of a living form into something more abstract and spiritual — a rose becoming structure, almost like architecture.

In the Collection Numéraire, 13.2 Métarosme follows Brûlure de Rose and La Nymphe et le Poète, bringing their opposites together. The rose loses its physical form and becomes light.
